When you have a one year old, it is hard to decide whether to throw a big party or something small. In a mom’s mind, when it comes time to make this decision, they are thinking how big of a celebration turning one years old is but, also, how their one year old will never remember the experience. This momma decided to have a joint birthday party with her and her one-year-old. This is a super fun idea to celebrate yourself and your little one without being too extravagant for a one year old who will not even remember the party. Let me let you in on a secret, the momma gets to be extravagant for herself, as well as, making it through one year of motherhood!

The best way to have a dual party with adults and children is to set up a kids table and adult table with similar themes and colors.
A nice, relaxing space for the adults to get their party on while the little ones can enjoy fun on their own in the toy zone.
